Nancy Cartwright
Best known as the spiky-headed underachiever Bart Simpson on The Simpsons, Emmy™ winner Nancy Cartwright also provides the unique voices of Ralph, Nelson, Todd and or Rodd Flanders on the show. Considered one of the top voice-actors in the world, her golden touch is one of the vital ingredients that helped make The Simpsons the longest-running sitcom in television history.
Her considerable talents are also evident in other award-winning shows including the voice of Chuckie in Nickelodeon’s Rugrats and Rufus the Naked Mole Rat in Disney’s Kim Possible. Nancy is a businesswoman who owns two companies, including Cartwright Entertainment, which guides her career, and produces audio books, stage works and animation projects.
When not in the spotlight, Nancy enjoys being active as a volunteer in the community, supporting many non-profit organizations which focus on helping children, such as Famous Fone Friends, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Way to Happiness Foundation and her new non-profit venture she co-founded called Happy House, whose mission is to Build Better Families, one family at a time.
Rose Goss
A professional writer, and award-winning documentary producer, Rose passed away in 2008. She is sorely missed.
With her writing roots formed in the publishing industry, she was a magazine editor, spent many years in entertainment journalism, then moved over into writing her own creative projects. The founder of The Hollywood Writer’s Society, over the years Rose inspired many other writers along the way.
As an artist, Rose co-wrote and directed Nancy Cartwright in her world-traveling one-woman-show entitled, My Life As a 10-Year Old Boy, which premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Rose was C.E.O. of Irish Rose Productions, and was nominated into Strathmore’s Who’s Who, for demonstrating leadership in her profession.
Being the last of twelve children, the mother of two and thirty-one years of marriage, she experienced first hand what the most successful elements are to building a better family. She always shared her wisdom, with focus, drive, wit and humor during Happy House workshops and as the leader in creating the goals, products and the structure of Happy House.
