The Way to Happiness Video Shorts
Happy House’s activities since its inception and the Happy House Good Choices® program are based on the booklet The Way to Happiness®. This booklet contains a non-religious guide to happy living and was written by L. Ron Hubbard in 1981 in response to the 1980 Supreme Court decision to remove all references to the 10 Commandments from schools. Mr. Hubbard predicted a rise in crime and violence as a result of that decision and wrote The Way to Happiness to help fill the void.
It may be the only non-religious moral code based wholly on common sense.
Published in nearly 100 languages, in over 170 countries and with over 100 million copies in distribution so far, this booklet has helped millions lead happier lives and influence others to do the same.
Happy House’s booklet How to Make Good Choices is a transposition of The Way to Happiness to make it accessible and understandable by children ages 7–13.
The video clips shown below are public service announcements that were produced to give a rapid introduction to the concepts covered in both booklets.
