Happy House President, Carol Loweree has been piloting a program to boost literacy with students. You’ll here more about this program at a future date, but the program is also extremely useful for ESL students. Check out the photo of some recent graduates from a migrant workers ESL program in South Los Angeles and this wonderful success story: “I have so much confidence now to speak English were before I felt unable to! It also gives me the opportunity to help my children since I can understand and read what they are studying! THANKS YOU SO MUCH!” —Isabel S. Mother of 5 children

Miriam has been delivering the Happy House Good Choices® program at her daughter’s charter school. The results have been wonderful. Check out the images of what the kids are doing.
Happy House is helping parents with at-risk children by applying Chapter 17 of The Way to Happiness, Be Competent.

That’s a major necessity since the ride can be close to a mile or more long just in participants! To answer the obvious question of why: because these rides are having a major impact in crime reduction in the areas […]
Meet a family who the LAPD asked if Happy House could help them with toys. So applying “Love and Help Children” from The Way to Happiness, Happy House did just that but not only did they drop off toys but we were able to find a Food Ministry to give them staples from milk, eggs and bread. And, we got them some Christmas cookies to decorate! Thanks to the LAPD for reaching out to make sure this family has a great Christmas!
