At the end of October this year, Happy House President, Carol Loweree, helped create an event bringing together a variety of groups sharing ideals. Under the banner of Compassionate California, the event was designed to educate, empower and encourage compassionate dialogue and collaboration between concerned youth with their community leaders at all levels, including leaders from Black Lives Matter, law enforcement, elected officials, and others.
